Update: Is the next big thing a new e-board or a kit? Week number 3 was awesome! You might remember me talking about Yiimixin Blog No. 1 – Mission. They produce high quality, waterproof (level IP54) electric skateboards that are fun to use, which we did! We texted the CO-founder Collin, asking him if we can test his electric skateboards a little bit more. He agreed and also invited us to come and speak with one of his partners. Mr. Cao is the CEO of Huannifun Ltd.and is an online vendor of lots of different products from many different suppliers. Including Collin’s Yiimix products.

Update: The next big thing in electric mobility is a city? On Saturday we went to Maytech Electronics at 10:00 AM, which was early as F*ck(!). Maytech is already a supplier of Fatdaddy and thus it was very nice for them to meet somebody of Fatdaddy. Anyway, we were  welcomed to the office by Eileen. After some small talk we had a great conversation about Maytech’s products where they gave us a lot of insight in what their motors are capable of. We can find the motors of Maytech in electric skateboards, surfboards and even in fighting robots! The motors of  Maytech are of a good quality because the company focusses on building the perfect motor for all sorts of products.

Update: China product hunting mission Let me explain. As you might know I am in China with my co-intern Putri and we have just over four weeks to find the next big thing in electric mobility products. We are based in Shanghai at Dongua University where we are required to attend Chinese language lessons in the morning. However, the afternoon and evening we are free for appointments with Chinese suppliers.
