You may have second thoughts after ordering or delivering your order. We don’t bother about this and give everyone 30 days to reconsider. Read the rules of the game below;

Returning

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the item. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be in its original unopened packaging. The item must be returned to us in the condition in which you received it. After approval of your return, you will be refunded the purchase price – any shipping costs within 14 days via the way you paid. Electric bikes, scooters and Onewheels cannot be returned after delivery, as they are assembled per order. Electrical items such as batteries cannot be returned after opening the packaging because we can no longer guarantee the condition of the battery.

When you take the item out of the packaging we charge a 10% ‘restock’ fee to check the item before we can take it back in. When the item is turned on it is stored in the software and the item cannot be returned. Items used for repairs / electrical items cannot be returned. We use standard shipping costs which will not be returned.

Returns must first be notified via our website. Shipping costs are for your own account.

Refunds

It is your responsibility to send the returned item to us. Once received you will be notified and receive a receipt. We will then check whether it meets the return conditions.

Shipping

We ship in the Netherlands with UPS / DHL or PostNL. We also advise you to return your item using one of these carriers. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Shipments are always sent to the order address. Changing the delivery address can only be done by email.

Warranty

Standard at purchase you get 2 years European factory warranty which covers defects recognized by the manufacturer. The standard manufacturer’s warranty does not cover abuse, poor maintenance, accidents or defects caused by your own fault such as moisture. The battery has a factory warranty of 6 months. Repairs under warranty should always be reported to us. Electric bikes are only covered by warranty when we have serviced the vehicle within 3 months, this is free of charge. If you want additional warranty you can purchase this during the order.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order until it is shipped, for this we charge a restocking fee of 10%. Electric bikes and scooters are delivered 90% roadworthy – in case of cancellation there is an extra fee of €49 euro for partial assembly. Pre orders have a 10% fee because the products have already been ordered and paid for at the supplier.

Damages during shipment

We always use the best carriers for your region. Nevertheless, it happens that a carrier is careless a package. It is therefore important that you inspect your package upon receipt before signing for it. If the box is damaged you can refuse the order at the door. If not, take a picture and send it immediately to our customer service, do not open the package.

Carry-in warranty

The Carry-in warranty means that Fatdaddy customers are responsible for sending/emailing the defective item for repair and then picking up the repaired item themselves. If the customer chooses to ship the item there will be no compensation for shipping costs, return shipping costs from Fatdaddy are always free. Make sure to always include the original packing slip or invoice.
